My name is Lenka Pavlová, and I come from Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic — from a family where cooking and baking have been lovingly passed down from generation to generation. Since childhood, I’ve been surrounded by the aromas of home-cooked meals, family recipes, and those little secrets that make every dish unique.
I brought my passion for cooking all the way to the United States, where I discovered that Czech cuisine has its charm even across the ocean — though it sometimes calls for a bit of American improvisation. Determined to keep the Czech soul in every dish, I began creating recipes that blend tradition with local ingredients.
I am the founder of Pavlova Catering & Bakery, where I’ve been working for several years, providing catering for a wide range of events — from private celebrations and weddings to corporate gatherings and international occasions.
Among my clients are also distinguished guests, including the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, with First Lady Eva Pavlová, and the President of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini.
My passion project, Pavlova Czech Cookbook, brings classic Czech recipes adapted for American kitchens, clever ingredient substitutions, and a pinch of humor.
For me, cooking is above all a joy and an adventure — one that anyone can join.
